HOW THE ILLUSTRATION WORKS

Formula, timing and limits.

At the end of each month, apply monthly growth first, then withdraw the smaller of the scheduled amount and the available balance. Annual withdrawal increases apply after each twelve months.

  • Withdrawals are met only within the selected horizon under the constant-return assumption; this does not establish indefinite sustainability.
  • Annual withdrawals can increase by the chosen percentage. Real market paths and sequence risk are not simulated by a constant rate.
Read before acting

Illustrative only. Mutual fund returns are not fixed or guaranteed. Market risk, costs, taxes and the timing of cash flows can change outcomes. This is general education, not personalised investment advice. An SWP redeems your own investment units; it is not fixed interest or guaranteed income.
